• Animal Movement/Locomotion Workshop

  • Saturday November 9th, 10am-11:30am

    Join Colleen in this playful specialty class to explore movement in a way that feels good in your body! We will cover a variety of ways to move from point A to point B while inviting mobility, strength, coordination, and balance into your practice. 

    What to expect: *A FUN EXPERIENCE* with animal movements, gentle flow combinations, group/partner games, and a sweet and balanced cool down. This is suitable for ALL LEVELS, just bring your open mind and curiosity! :) 

     About Colleen: 

    Movement and wellness have been a major part of Colleen’s personal interests for as long as she can remember. Her diverse background in dance, bodywork, yoga, Qi Gong, strength training, mobility, and movement has paved the way to her unique style of training and teaching. She provides a warm, inviting, and safe space in her classes, helping to give her students permission to play, connect, and build community. 

    Colleen is the owner and acupuncturist of The Balance Point Acupuncture in Chapel Hill. She coaches weekly kettlebell and calisthenics classes, and also provides private one on one personal training sessions. During her free time, you can find her dancing, writing, spending time with her dog, Pistachio, cooking, traveling, and making herself (and hopefully others) laugh. :)
